Please join us for Day One: Hastings on the first day of school. This welcome event is open to all Hastings students, parents, staff, and members of the neighbourhood, as we celebrate the potential of a completely new school year.
Come grab a coffee and snack before the bell rings and students head inside. Stick around to take part in Hastings Human Library, where parents will share their experiences and expertise on a wide range of subjects like the importance of sleep, language acquisition, and what to make for lunch for the next 10 months. These one-on-one/one-to-small group conversations are a great way to connect with other people in the school community.
If the weather is fine, we’ll be set up on the primary playground. If it’s wet, we’ll be in the undercover area. There is no cost to attend and no need to RSVP; please do try to bring a reusable beverage and food container if you can to help limit waste.
