After a very long 3 year break, the Hastings PAC is very excited to be hosting the very popular Burger & Bevvie Night at The Princeton once again! 
When: Saturday, February 25th!
Where: The Princeton Hotel – 1901 Powell Street
What: Adults only social event to bring together the Hastings School parent community

Tickets are only $26 each and that includes all services fees. Your ticket gets you a burger, fries, one beverage, karaoke entertainment, and good times! 
Doors open at 6pm, and first burgers are served at 6:30pm.
Kitchen closes at 10pm, but event goes until 11pm.
This is a wonderful way to meet other parents and caregivers. While this
event is primarily intended to be a community building event, any
proceeds will go to the Hastings PAC to fund initiatives such as
classroom supplies, dance and phys.ed programs, art supplies, to name a
few! So grab some friends and come out for a fun night while raising
money for the PAC!

Spring Fair Sponsors 2022

Join us Thursday, June 9th from 3-6pm, rain or shine, for the Hastings Community Elementary School Spring Fair. This is a community event and everyone is welcome. Activities include: Cake Walk, Jolly Jars, Carnival Games, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, Live Music, Food & Drink, and more. Admission is free. Spring Fair – Thu. June 9, 3-6pm

AVOID THE LINE UPS! – Pre-Sale of Tickets all week!

Make the most of your Spring Fair time by pre-purchasing you Spring Fair tickets; Monday, June 6 – Thursday, June 9 at drop off (8:30-9am) and pickup (3-4pm). Look for Kristen in the Red Fair Ticket hat at the front entrance of the school to make your purchase.
Spring Fair Tickets are $1 per ticket and are used to purchase/participate in games, cake walk, jolly jars, food & refreshment, etc.  *NEW PAYMENT METHODS!* Pay by cash, debit or credit card.
Additionally, we have a Raffle this year with loads of fantastic prizes (176KB pdf). Raffle tickets are on sale for $2 per ticket. Raffle prizes will be available to view at the fair and the winners will be drawn at the end of the Fair on Thursday, June 9.  You do not need to be present at the Spring Fair to win a Raffle prize.
Please note, you MUST be 19+ to purchase and enter the raffle draw. Note there are no refunds on Fair or Raffle tickets.

Please sign up here to volunteer with set up or tear down (1hr shift), event support (1hr shift), or baking and donating a cake for the Cake Walk.

After a THREE-YEAR break, the PAC is thrilled to announce the return of our Hastings Spring Fair on Thursday, June 9th, 3-6pm. This highly anticipated event takes place outside on school grounds and is one of the PAC’s most important fundraisers. PAC raised funds go towards many areas of our school, including classroom supplies, speaker series, STEM, and arts programming. There are several attractions and activities planned including bouncy castles, a cake walk, concessions, prize table, and jolly jars!

Arts & Crafts Market

Friday, May 13th, 3-5pm & Saturday, May 14th, 11-2pm at Hastings School. Cash only.

The Grade 7 students and teachers will be hosting a fundraiser to support the grade 7 camp and will have a varied selection of handmade arts and crafts available, a thrift table, a bake sale, games stations, and refreshments. Please come out to support the students!

Indigenous Hastings Graduate Bursary

The PAC is launching a new bursary fund for Indigenous Hastings graduates!

You are invited to make a donation to the fund by donating to the Hastings PAC at events (cash or cheque), or through School Cash Online. Just select fund destination ‘E-Hastings PAC’, (NOT E-Hastings), and add the note ‘Indigenous Bursary’ in the message section to specify the funds are to be used for that purpose. For online donations you will receive a tax receipt.

Poinsettia Fundraiser

Poinsettias (Red, White or Pink) – $12 each

Decorate your home or office, or give these festive potted flowers as a gift!  They are a lovely size at 16” x 16” planted in a 6” pot. All money raised will go towards school technology upgrades. 

Order Deadline: Wednesday, December 8th

Pick Up: Thursday, December 9th, 2:30pm – 4:00pm

Further information on pick up location (either at the school or near the school) will be provided closer to the day. 

There are a couple ways you can place your order: 

  1. VSB SCHOOL CASH ONLINELog in to your account. Choose from the three options listed (pink, white, red) and add to your shopping cart. To help the PAC keep track of the orders, please email info@hastingspac.ca to let us know you placed your order online. You could either forward your VSB receipt, or confirm what you ordered in a simple email – or you could fill out the order form (1.2MB pdf) and scan/snap and email it to us or drop off at the school office – whatever is easiest for you. 
  2. ORDER FORM + CHEQUE OR CASH – If you would prefer to place your order using a cheque or cash as payment, please complete the order form and drop it off at the school office.
