Hastings students and staff will be participating in the fourteenth Annual Terry Fox School Run Day hosted by the PNE at Hastings Park on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:15pm. Please see the attached Fact Sheet and Gate 15 documents for more information.
Please note divisions 1 to 8 will not be participating in the PNE event. Divisions 1 to 8 will be doing their Terry Fox run around a modified route closer to the school. The teachers of divisions 1 to 8 will communicate more information regarding their modified Terry Fox run with families.
If you’re available to help with the Terry Fox run as a volunteer, please contact your child’s teacher.
Consent to participate in the Hastings Terry Fox run is included in the activities covered by the Neighbourhood Visit Consent Form all families should have signed and returned to their child’s teacher. If you have not completed this form, or if you have questions regarding your child’s participation in the Terry Fox run, please contact your child’s teacher.
Please remember the Hastings Terry Fox run will take place rain or shine. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
