Hello Hastings Community,

We are excited to invite you to our annual winter celebration, the Winter Warm-Up, happening on Thursday, December 11th, from 5–7 PM!

Join us for an evening of fun, food, and festivities with family and friends. Enjoy a delicious pizza meal and hot chocolate while exploring all the exciting activities we have planned. You can look forward to student-made crafts, a choir performance and sing-along, a bake sale, fun games, a photo station, and face painting!

In addition to being a joyful community gathering, the Winter Warm-Up is also an important fundraising event for our school. The money raised helps us organize workshops, presentations, and enrichment experiences for all classes at Hastings throughout the year.

Please note: This event is cash-only.

Bake Sale Contributions

To help make the Winter Warm-Up a success, we are seeking contributions for the bake sale! Cupcakes, cookies, squares—any and all nut-free baked goods and desserts are welcome. A sign-up form will be sent home with students this week.

Student Musicians Wanted!

We are also seeking student musicians who would be interested in performing a short set of live music in the foyer during the event. A microphone will be set up and students can play one song or a few—whatever they’re comfortable with! If your child is interested, please reach out to Mme. Ciara to sign them up.

Also if you have ordered Poinsettias, they will be distributed by the undercover area during the event. 

As this is an after-school event, students attending must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or another responsible adult. This ensures everyone can enjoy the evening safely and respectfully.

The Spring Fair is Hastings PAC’s biggest fundraiser and community event of the year—and we’d love your support!

Where do the funds go? Straight into our school—supporting classroom supplies, art, tech, field trips and more.

Ways to get involved:

🙋‍♀️ Volunteer – We need 40–60 amazing helpers to keep things running smoothly. SIGN UP HERE to grab a shift. There are lots of opportunities to help out throughout the day!

🎁 Make a Jolly Jar – Fan fave alert! Fill a jar with goodies or join a lunchtime jar-making session at school (TBA) with Jolly Jar Queen Meg Roe.

🎪 Sponsor a Game or Activation – Are you a local biz owner? Support your community AND get visibility with local families! Email Jenn: jenn@wintcommunications.com for tiered sponsorship options.

🎟 Donate Tickets – Buy a pack of 10 or 20 and gift them to another family. Spread the joy!

🧸 Toys Needed! – Spring clean + support the fair = win-win. Donate gently used toys, puzzles, or games (no books, please). Drop-off box by the office.

Burger and Bevvie Night is Back!

After a very long 3 year break, the Hastings PAC is very excited to be hosting the very popular Burger & Bevvie Night at The Princeton once again! 
When: Saturday, February 25th!
Where: The Princeton Hotel – 1901 Powell Street
What: Adults only social event to bring together the Hastings School parent community
Book the sitter and get your tickets online at EVENTBRITE
Tickets are only $26 each and that includes all services fees. Your ticket gets you a burger, fries, one beverage, karaoke entertainment, and good times! 
Doors open at 6pm, and first burgers are served at 6:30pm.
Kitchen closes at 10pm, but event goes until 11pm.
This is a wonderful way to meet other parents and caregivers. While this
event is primarily intended to be a community building event, any
proceeds will go to the Hastings PAC to fund initiatives such as
classroom supplies, dance and phys.ed programs, art supplies, to name a
few! So grab some friends and come out for a fun night while raising
money for the PAC!
